Super Hero Legos –The complete state-of-the-art
Superheroes play an important role in the lives of millions of people. They are more than just a source of entertainment; they also provide invaluable inspiration and direction to their fans. Super Heroes are a licensed theme that was first introduced in January 2012, with some promotional sets made available in the summer and fall of the year 2011. Today, the theme features an amazing total of over 30 sets based on the Marvel and the DC Universe comic books and movies. By January 2012, the sets include nine DC Universe sets that mainly focus on the Green Lantern, Superman and Batman series, besides a guest appearance by Wonder Woman. In the DC Universe subtheme in January, several new mini-figures were introduced. Minifigures are small plastic figures with interchangeable parts, living in their own Lego Universe and speaking their own Minifigure Language. The Marvel collection of Super Hero Lego chiefly focuses on The Lego Avengers , Spider Man and X-Men.

A video game based upon the Marvel line, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is also on the cards.
